What it is
Closings for Paws is not a campaign. It is just the way I do business.
Every time I close a real estate transaction, a percentage of my commission goes directly to the Grand Strand Humane Society. The shelter tells me where the need is greatest at that moment and that is exactly where it goes. Sometimes that means funding a surgery. Sometimes it means collars, leads, food, or supplies for animals in their care. Every closing. Every time.
THE DOGS IN THE MARKETING
When a home hits the market, a dog comes with it.
I partner with the Grand Strand Humane Society to select an adoptable dog to be featured alongside every listing. That dog gets their own spotlight in every piece of marketing for the property. Every flyer, every social post, every open house. They get a photo, a QR code, and a direct link so potential adopters can find them fast.
More eyes on the home means more eyes on the dog. That is the whole idea.
THE VOLUNTEER WORK
Some days that looks like a dog date where I take a shelter dog out for the day so they get a break from kennel life and a chance to just be a dog. Some days it is sorting and organizing donations, walking dogs, or spending time with animals who just need a person to show up for them. Some days it is Grand Strand Humane Society adoption events, helping connect animals with the families who have been looking for them.

These are the dogs who have been featured through Closings for Paws or dog date days. Some have found their forever homes. Some are still waiting. All of them deserve to be seen.

The Grand Strand Humane Society is a nonprofit animal shelter serving the Myrtle Beach area and the greater Grand Strand. They provide shelter, medical care, and adoption services for animals in need across our community. Their work depends entirely on donations, volunteers, and the people who choose to show up for animals who cannot speak for themselves.
